What is pneumonia?

  • VAP- Ventilator-associated pneumonia– Sometimes patients who are using a ventilator get pneumonia. Thatswhy it is called VAP pneumonia.
  • Aspiration Pneumonia- This type of pneumonia due to Inhaling bacteria into your lungs from food, drink, or saliva.
